Travis and Dena Hurley

Travis and Dena Hurley are beginning their seventh year of ministry at
FCC. Baptized into Christ in 1984 and then ordained for ministry in 1995,
Travis serves as Lead Minister, and he believes that Jesus' prayer for
unity in John 17 has practical implications for the "melting pot" that
comprises the church in America. Travis completed his undergraduate
work at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO, and is now in the midst of
graduate studies in urban and cross-cultural ministry through Cincinnati

Don and Shelley have been members of First Christian Church since April of
2006. Their joy in service to the Lord, both here and in their previous church
affiliations, is in music ministry for Shelley and preaching and teaching
ministries for Don. Here at First Christian Don was blessed to be ordained as

Marvin G. Campbell, a native of Baltimore MD, served for 13 years as
an active duty Navy Officer before leaving the military in response to
God's call to full-time U.S. Missions. A graduate of the U.S. Naval
Academy, and holding a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mr.
Campbell's military resume is highlighted by tours as the United States
Navy's military representative to Japan on Foreign Military Sales in
Aegis Combat Systems Programs and as the Navy's Theater Ballistic

Allyn Lloyd Powell

Allyn was born July 14, 1953 in East Meadow, N.Y. She graduated from
Mineola HS in 1971 and graduated Yale University with B.S. in Biology in
1975. Allyn went on to graduate from Howard University College of
Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 1979. She completed her Pediatric
Residency Training Program at Howard Univ. Hospital and D.C. General
