 STUDYING THE WORD OF GOD! IS THERE A BETTER WAY TO BEGIN YOUR WEEK? Beginning March 3rd through the end of May 2013, we will be studying from the Old Testament book of Daniel and the New Testament books of the Gospel of Luke, Acts, 1 & 2 Thessalonians and 1 & 2 Peter. The Quarter is titled Undying Hope and the individual Units are titled - The Kingdom of God, Resurrection Hope and A Call to Holy Living. You are encouraged to join us in Sunday School each Sunday morning @ 9:00am. 

2/42 GATHERING - "Devoted" Prayer! Initiative is a 50 day prayer challenge to strengthen your prayer life. It begins Monday, April 1st for 7 weeks thru Monday, May 13th at 7:00pm. We will gather at the church to increase our devotion to prayer. The evening will be divided into two parts - instructional and participation. If you want to increase your own discipline of prayer, need prayer for yourself or want to pray for others, the 2/42 gathering is for you. 

Our Devoted Prayer Initiative DAY OF PRAYER is Saturday, May 18th from 8am - 8pm. One hour prayer guides will be available as well a host who will be available to pray with you. Stop in anytime during the day and spend some time in prayer.

 The Spring Session of our LifeGroups will begin this month and run through June: This new series is a DVD study of the History Channel's documentary, "The Bible." Five different themes will be explored during this session. The various groups meet at different times and various homes. If you are not already a group member and are interested in connecting with a group, contact the church at 301-627-3646.

 June 8th: Men's Prayer Fellowship @ 8:00am

June 15th: FCC Grand Prix - this is an RC car outreach event for men and boys. it's designed for guys to interact with their sons, nephews, grandsons, neighbors, co-workers or friends. Lunch provided; 11-2pm. The rain date is the following Saturday, June 22. Call the church for more details.

Shepherd's Cove is an FCC Community Outreach Partner. We will be collecting supplies from their "Wish List" May 12 - June 16. We also encourage you to volunteer as a way to "GO" into the community to serve people in the name of Jesus. See Margaret Russell for more details.

The Table Project - Prayer, Service, Study and Fellowship are important aspect of faith that shouldn't be restricted to the time we sit in a pew. That's what the Table Project is about. It's a private social network just for FCC that enables connections 24/7 and not just on Sunday. The value of the table is for everyone to plug in and begin interacting.

 ATTENTION FCC! Volunteers are needed to clean the church on a monthly rotation, run the soundboard on Sunday mornings, help in the nursery and adding people to the First Impressions Team (Greeters).
